PLATES FOR SHEAR LOADS

TITAN PLATE T is the series of metal plates for shear forces that are ideal for creating timber-to-timber joints, such as flat connection of the timber platform beams to load-bearing timber panels.

TITAN PLATE T metal plates, the strength of a titan at the service of timber.

Description

The shear strengths of TITAN PLATE T plates are calculated with both partial and total fastening for solid timber, glulam and CLT.

CE marking according to European standard EN 14545 .

Available in 2 versions: the 200 mm version also allows fastening the platform beams in the foundation (height higher than 8 cm) to the upper supporting panel, both in CLT and TIMBER FRAME structures. The 300 mm version is specially designed to maximise shear strength in CLT structures.

The TITAN PLATE T two-dimensional perforated plate made of bright zinc plated carbon steel is ideal for making timber-to-timber shear joints with timber panels and beams and for use on CLT, LVL, solid timber, glulam and platform frames.
